StoneLite

Description

StoneLite™ panels provide a natural stone facade to a building while insuring that it is an extremely strong, safe installation that will withstand the test of time. They are durable, able to withstand different weather conditions; heat, cold, earthquakes and hurricanes. The lightweight panels are easy to handle, so an entire building can be laid out in advance and arranged for blending the color and the natural stone grain.

Applications

External cladding of buildings

Durability

Durable: able to withstand different weather conditions (heat, cold, earthquakes, hurricanes).

Sustainability

– Use of Recycled materials
– Resistance to thermal transmission
– Reduced structural requirements
– Preservation of limited natural resources
– Weather resistance

Graphimetal Stone

null

Description:

Keystone Materials specializes in the metallization of specialty and high performance materials. Its patent pending GraphiMetalTM coating process permits high conductivity joining to many high performance graphitic materials. The GraphiMetalTM process is a strong enabling technology, and Keystone Materials is currently working with commercial and military entities to utilize its processes to integrate graphitic foam, fibers and other high performance materials into current platforms with a focus on heat management and energy production systems.

Contents:

The patent pending GraphiMetalTM coating technology involves the immersion of carbon foam into an autocatalytic bath whose chemistry and processing steps are tailored for maximum adhesion and penetration into the open-celled structure of the foam. Previous attempts by other groups have only been successful in depositing metal onto the outside surface of the foam and with limited adhesion.

The uniform Cu or Ni coating obtained through Keystone’s process has been shown to allow the foam to be joined to metallic structures through traditional soldering techniques.

Application:

Structural construction

Exterior Insulation Finish System (EIFS)

null

Description:

Sto markets an exceptionally wide range of traditional hardcoat stucco, cement board stucco, exterior insulation and finis systems (EIFS), and architectural coatings. Sto also offers a spray-on air & moisture barrier for substrate protection and a variety of concrete restoration products, providing builders and owners a single source for a complete line of materials for the restoration, protection and enhancement of buildings. For interior applications, the company also produces abrasion resistant coatings for high traffic public spaces, such as airports and schools, as well as a wide variety of textured and smooth coatings to bring added richness to rooms.

Content:

Sto’s latest product innovation is StoCoat Lotusan, an architectural coating with pronounced self-cleaning properties. The StoCoat Lotusan exterior coating possesses a highly water repellant surface similar to that of a lotus leaf. On the lotus plant, dirt particles don’t stick on the surface, and simply flow off with the rain droplets that fall on the plant. On a building coated with StoCoat Lotusan, dirt simply runs off with the water that falls on the facade. The facade remains dry and attractive.

Application:

wide range of traditional hardcoat stucco, cement board stucco,  exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS), and architectural coatings and spray-on air & moisture barrier for substrate protection and a variety of concrete restoration

Sustainability:

Another recent innovation is our StoGuard spray-on building wrap. StoGuard provides a seamless air and moisture barrier beneath exterior wall claddings including EIFS, stucco, brick, fiber-cement board, vinyl and wood siding.
It protects plywood, gypsum sheathing, Dens-Glass® Gold, or cement board sheathing before, during and after construction. A structural, continuous air and moisture barrier, StoGuard outperforms fabric building wraps and can save up to 40% in energy costs, according to a 2005 NIST report.

MULTIPANEL

Description

Multipanel is a material made from high-density polyurethane composite material that contains fire retardant additives and has excellent insulation and acoustic properties. It is Lightweight – easy to handle, transport and install. Strong and durable- stronger than traditional foam alternatives. Easy to use – glue and screw. Easy to cut with standard wood working tools. Versatile – easy to heat and bend, achieve concave or convex shapes. Resistant to damage from termites, birds and other pests. Can be granulated and recycled as insulation foam

Applications

External cladding of buildings

Durability

MultiPanel is a flexible material, however once laminated increases stiffness and toughness while optimising weight. Resistant to damage from termites, birds and other pests. Compatable with a wide variety of finishes including texture coating, acrylic paints, 2 pack painting, laminates, timber veneers, fibreglass, stonework, tiling and various metal finishes.

Sustainability

Multipanel, due to its excellent thermal insulation properties, results in lower energy use in all domestic and industrial applications. It is a non – toxic, non – hazardous material containing no fibrous or flammable components. Additionally, it contains no ozone damaging agents, or greenhouse gases. Multipanel is fire retardant, using non – halogen containing fire retardant additives. Moreover, Multipanel polyol component is manufactured from natural non petroleum based oils. It can be used as an alternative to many timber based products, thus helps to conserve our forests. Multipanel foam can be granulated and recycled as insulation foam.

fibreC Concrete Skin

Description

fibreC is a concrete panel reinforced with glass fibers which combines the advantages of concrete and glass fibers in one product: it is as solid, moldable and durable as concrete, but thanks to the glass fibers also thin-walled, fireproof and light-weight. Like a skin of concrete, it allows the construction of slim elements with a tensile strength.
The extremely thin concrete slabs contribute to the new language of shapes.

Applications

Exterior of building; Concrete skin cladding gives buildings a new aesthetic appearance and reclaims concrete in the form of glassfibre-concrete for facade wall design

Durability

Solid, moldable and durable; lightweight

Sustainability

Contains high-grade raw materials consisting of purely mineral substances, based on purely organic substances; the material can be completely recycled. As a result, the material is natural, it is environmentally friendly, sustainable and cost-efficient

Aluminium Composite Panel

Description

Aluminum composite panels (ACP) are flat panels that consist of a non-aluminum core bonded between two aluminum sheets. ACP’s are frequently used for external cladding of buildings. They are very rigid and strong despite its lightweight. Additionally, they are flexible in terms of painting and installation.

Applications

External cladding of buildings

Specifications

Weight: Approximately 2.5 lbs. per square foot, fully fabricated.

Maximum Sizes: Panels vary in sizes ranging from 60″ x 192″ to 12” x 12”

Durability

Composite panels are available with fire resistant cores to address current building code requirements. Additionally, panels are rigid, strong and provide protection under different weather conditions.

Sustainability

Composite aluminum panels are made from average yearly-recycled aluminum content of approximately 85%. Material re-usage is an important element in achieving a more sustainable structure since it allows for future processes.

Polycarbonate Panels

Polycarbonate plastic is moldable, durable, lightweight, flame resistant, shatterproof, and energy efficient. One of its best properties is high-impact resistance, which can be more than 200 times greater than tempered glass.  A polycarbonate panel is extremely weather resistant, will not yellow in harsh sun, and recyclable.

Polycarbonate sheets can be as clear as glass, translucent, or completely opaque, depending on the specific use. The panels can be flat or corrugated, rigid or flexible, thick or thin.  Polycarbonate makes an excellent substitute for glass or acrylic, and there are a multitude of uses for panels made of polycarbonates.
